A plain, friendly explanation of how the coupons and deals on YourGuruz reach you — and how the site earns a little to keep going.
An affiliate link is an ordinary link that also lets the retailer know your visit started on YourGuruz. We use these links to take you from a page here across to the store’s own website.
It doesn’t change where you land, the price you’re shown, or anything about how you shop once you’re on the retailer’s site. It simply notes where you came from.
The short version: you find a deal here, you buy from the retailer, and YourGuruz may earn a little. Step by step:
This doesn’t happen on every visit or with every purchase, and there’s nothing you need to do either way.
A coupon code — also called a promo code, discount code or voucher — is a short code you enter at a retailer’s checkout to claim a discount or a special offer.
On YourGuruz you reveal the code, copy it, and paste it into the promo-code box at the retailer’s checkout. The discount is applied by the retailer, based on that offer’s own rules — things like a minimum spend, selected products, first-time customers or an end date.
Some deals don’t need a code at all — the price is already lower on the retailer’s site, and the link just takes you there.
No. Using a link from YourGuruz never adds anything to your bill.
Anything YourGuruz earns comes from the retailer’s side, not from you. You pay exactly what you’d pay going to the retailer directly — and a coupon or deal only lowers that price when the retailer applies it at checkout.
When you discover an offer through YourGuruz and go on to make a qualifying purchase with the retailer, YourGuruz may earn a small amount from that referral. This doesn’t add any extra cost to your purchase.
The retailer decides what counts as a qualifying purchase, and how much — if anything — comes back to us. Plenty of purchases earn nothing, and orders that are later returned or cancelled don’t earn anything either. That’s simply how it works.
Our rule is simple: the chance to earn from an offer is never a reason to oversell it or hide the catch. We try to describe every deal honestly — the saving, the conditions and any limits — whether or not YourGuruz earns anything from it.
If an offer isn’t genuinely useful, it doesn’t belong on YourGuruz.
Coupons and deals change fast. Discounts, who’s eligible, end dates, stock and a retailer’s terms can all change at any time, sometimes without notice.
We work to keep listings current and to take down codes we find no longer working, but we can’t promise every offer will be live or exact by the time you reach the retailer. Please check the final price, the discount and the terms on the retailer’s own website before you complete your order.
We’d rather just tell you how this works than tuck it away in the small print — that’s what this page is for. You always know that YourGuruz may earn a little from some of the offers it lists.
You’re never required to use a link from YourGuruz. If you’d prefer to go to a retailer directly, that’s completely fine.
Those small amounts are what let YourGuruz stay free to use. They cover the everyday work behind the site — finding and checking offers, writing guides, hosting and keeping things running — and the time spent making it better.
Put simply: when a referral works out, it pays for the work that finds you the next good deal.
If anything here is unclear, or you just want to ask how a particular offer works, get in touch — we’re happy to explain.
