YourGuruz began in 2020 with a small, familiar frustration. You find something you want to buy, you sense there’s a discount somewhere — and then you lose ten minutes to open tabs, dead codes and forum threads before giving up and paying full price.
That one step deserved better: not a wall of expired codes, but a clean place to check whether a real offer exists for the store you’re about to buy from — and to see it in seconds.
So founder Dheeraj Kumar Tiwari started building one, store by store and category by category, into the coupons-and-deals platform YourGuruz is today.

From the founder
Why I keep building YourGuruz
I grew up around small businesses and spent my early career studying marketing — how people decide what to buy, and how a small saving can tip that decision. Working online, the same thing kept bothering me: the discount you need is almost always out there, just buried under expired codes and clutter.
I started YourGuruz in 2020, from Mathura, to fix that one moment well. I still run it hands-on — choosing which stores to cover, organising the offers, and deciding what the site should and shouldn’t do. It’s independent, and it’s personal. And the long-term goal is bigger than one country: I want YourGuruz to grow into a savings platform that shoppers anywhere can reach for before they check out.
